Letra de Some Truth (Paris Pt. 2)
I see him as he sees me, a stranger in disguise. He makes for the door and I follow close, he can't lose me if he tries. Out into the street I am invisible, I am ten steps behind. We slip between the raindrops, between the store fronts. He's in my grasp, he's mine.

Now he don't put up a fight, he just turns and says, "Things ain't what they seem. You are in too deep you are way too close, there's poison in the bloodstream."

So I grab him by the collar, up against the wall, look into his dead blue eyes and say, "believe you me, I am the devil and I make my destiny."

He makes for his gun but I've already drawn mine, and I put two in his side. He shows me his hand clenched around a thick envelope, and locks his eyes on mine. You "wanna see the truth, that's obvious to me, but you're looking for it wrong. She is not what you think, she is no one you know, this game's gone on too long."

"That tattoo on her arm ain't from no concentration camp. She did hard time in the gulags. And the answers are here in this dossier, but if you want the truth yourself there's another way. The address on the envelope in hangar number nine, go there at midnight tonight. But be careful, your steps are measured, your days are numbered, it's coming down. It's coming down."

So I leave him in the gutter, up against the wall, look into his dead blue eyes and say, "believe you me. I am the devil and I make my destiny."
