Letra de Caesar's Diner, Occupied
Just like soldiers on the rouse tonight we're bound
to all gather at the table at 8pm;
but instead of bugles calling, we call our first round:
to hell with our worries, the jobs be damned!

Boys, I'm afraid we have this place surrounded
and the waitress is our prisoner.
By god, tell that band to shut up and sing
or we are leaving and we'll take her home with us.

My vision will be hazy when we've packed up and gone,
I'll have trouble walking so I'll be leaning on the dawn.
Take my shoes off slowly as i sit on my bedside
with memories of Caesar's diner... Occupied.

Waging a war with an empty glass is gruesome,
'least it's not putting up a fight.
Katy always said 'You win some, you lose some.'
but drunk dialing never made things right.

We exchange the salutes for the clinks of mugs;
cheers to all the wasted evenings.
The answer to 'when are we going home?' is a shrug,
by morning the jokes will've lost their meanings.

My vision will be hazy when we've packed up and gone,
I'll have trouble walking so I'll be leaning on the dawn.
Take my shoes off slowly as i sit on my bedside
with memories of Caesar's diner... Occupied.
