Honor the treaties that came before us. We must right this moral and legal wrong. We've raped their culture, stolen their land. It's time for the Ione Band to receive a fair hand. BIA must not stop appropriations. Why are they not Indian enough? Undeserving of our pompous speculation. When will they be Indian enough? Too small a factor banned together. Their voice was stolen and promises were broken. It takes short time to divide, we take our time to decide on the heredity of a people present way before our time. Can we learn the lesson and forget the question. Remember history and set them free. A culture repressed leads to indentured service. Left hanging out to die it's time to end this life. Left hanging out to die in the barren washed wasteland. Out of sight, out of mind while they're left in the hills. Round 'em and crowd 'em and wipe away the Rancherias because the land has been lost or sold in tax sales. Ownership of the earth was and idea unheard of.
