Fucked up, lost, unknown
Cause, all the categories that apply
To the rules of middle class life
Are all things that I can't change
Unless I get rich, or die

It was something I was always raised
To believe, and never question
It was God who put us here
Don't ever doubt his decisions
Because there's something in the end
That's more important to keep in mind
And when you begin to question life
You ultimately become dissatisfied

But, empty pockets, and empty smiles
On an empty tank of gasoline
Always make me feel so alone
And now, I can't stay home
Cause, all the categories that apply
To the rules of middle class life
Are pushing me to the edge
And it's killing me, inside

Now it's leave, and get rich
Or die, trying to please
The fuckers who make the rules
On the red and blue-collar scene
I hope that I can pay the bills
And I hope I don't get evicted
I'm only 19 years old
But that's none of your business

Cause, it's all crashing down
And it's coming down too fast
Hardly anything's been good
In the four years that have passed
And there's a target on the ground
Someone put on top of our heads
And if I don't try to run, lord
I'm afraid that soon, I might be dead
