Letra de St. Bernard Prep
We don't think about how we feel.
And we don't feel, we're just taught to believe.
Our conscious is clear a few short years.
That distance of thought is breaking apart.

The duty to god is all we've got..
Resist the temptation to fuel the fire...
The unholy liars who don't regret.....
The miss-guided sinners who don't repent.....
So like the martyrs we will confess....
But it's this empty life....you won't forget.

You awake with a start scared in the dark.....
Someone's been spying on all of your thoughts,
And you can't help but feel, that all this is wrong,
And you're certain you're sorry but you don't know what for,
On you're knees on the floor, it's time to get up, it's time to let go.

The day's lessons echo through the halls.........
“ the outside world's got the wrong ideas. These old stone walls will keep you from harm.”
Now the school bells are ringing but were not going home.
I left my sweater on the vacant field, at the edge of the forest, it's getting dark and I feel
Something cold creeping over me........ in the shadow of the steeple, outlined by the sky
Pull over my sweater hood and walk by familiar fears familiar streets......

If you're thinking you're here........ for yourself or your peers
Then in no time at all, the difference...will make itself clear.
And everything you thought you'd be is going to wash away like tears.
At this age it's hard to understand, the desires of men....their contrived religion.
The disappearance of innocence.
So you...ignore their lessons.
