Cancer... Just who do you think I am?
I was built of stone and made to crumble and crumble is what I did.
Wake up and see this monument come crashing down (Eph. 5:14).
But don't sit back to watch it fall!
This rubble is rubbish!
Hoping won't make it right.
Our foolish ways are tied to action.

My truth is lost in false conclusions.
Conclusions end with, "where do I begin?"
Lawlessness is the way of this world and their destruction has not been sleeping (2 Peter 2:3).

Deceived and deceiver. Rebel: rebuild.
Bait the hook and leave me blind for vanity,
'Cause this is me and this remains of me.
I've tried to satisfy myself with futile passing of time (Rom. 1:21),
Calculating each step with ignorant wisdom.

Ignorance is the unknowing but it's such an easy piece to chew,
And to be honest, I don't feel you always.

When you're not near, well, that could never be true.
It's a condition of my heart falling recklessly for you.
I've been trying to run but friction is lost.
I've been trying to sing but the words seem to elude me.
And I can only hope to find you where I let go.
