He's been thinking for a while this town is way too lame
All the kids watch MTV and hang out at the football games
So he's decided it's up to him, he's got to make the change
He want's to start a punk rock band and Corndog is his name Whoa yeah start a punk band

Every day he goes to class it's like Varsity Blues
The things that concern them the most, their brand new clothes and shoes
But Corndog knows there's kids out there who hate the system too
He wants to do the best he can to bring them something new
Now he's got himself a band, he wrote a couple songs
With just three chords and whoas throughout and no more than two minutes long
They played some shows and got some fans, things are going strong
Now there's a scene and Corndog finally feels like he belongs
