Memories
The memories we shared Set on pages of despair Flicking through these tattered tales I weep. But every memory goes, each time the covers close Another piece of history is put to sleep. Awashed with guilt, can't bear to see Your smiling face staring back at me. When I didn't even say goodbye. Once so frail and deft Just torn apart and left. Thrown aside to decay and die. The memories will fade, occasionally replayed. On lonely nights I wake and wonder why. Awashed with guilt, can't bear to see Your smiling face staring back at me. When I didn't even say goodbye. It may just be once in a lifetime. But I'll never forget the day that I mis-read all the signs. It may just be a selfish thought of mine. But I'll never forget the day I didn't read the telltale signs. From Letras Mania
