My Muse Has Become a Nuisance
I see worth in all people. Everyone has potential to be completely worthless. While standing on a subway platform, I used a cell phone for the first time... called a thrift store clerk who had lost interest in her work. She said, "Come and see me, yeah, you need me. I inspire all of your sad songs about how life is so long." She said, "Come and see me, won't you show me all the guitars in the pawn shop?" She destroys the block with her tank top. Sometimes I feel OK, I hesitate, and then I say, "My muse has become a nuisance to me now." So what's the use? I'm tired and uninspired, life's left me so little to choose from. Some say, "hide love away." I have and here's what I say... I seek the damaged because the damaged always allow for an easy way in. I saw her digging for style in the Potter's House clothes pile.
