Ancient Highway
Riding out I heard somebody calling. I turned around to see where it came from. I saw visions of the past, those who'd gone before. I turned and saw them all go walking down, ancient highway, ancient highway ancient highway, ancient highway. Turned my horse towards the burning sunset. Found a place where I could lay my head. But as I lay down to sleep I heard somebody weep. I turned and saw this young girl walking down, that ancient highway, ancient highway ancient highway, ancient highway. All my life that Celtic ray's been calling me. And I've never had a place to call my own. The friends I've had and lost, all have paid the cost. When they choose to live their lives upon that old, Ancient highway, ancient highway. From Letras Mania
