Letra de Some Things
Well I've packed my bags I'm up and gone It's easy if you need. With one clean shirt a simple dream that's easy to believe. Well I'm tired of hearing stories about how you never win and before you even know I'll be gone `cause you cant see.
Excuses now my brother, I have heard them all before. And even as you're speaking all your words are growing old. Don't you talk to me about grief, don't talk to me about disease, if you can't even see yourself, how the hell could you see me?

Oh some things you must give away if you want to keep it yours - that's how the story goes...

Look me straight into the eyes and tell me if you see a liar, is it me or is merely a reflection of yourself? The past could take you further than the future ever has, unless of course tomorrow is your shadow of today.

Oh some things you must give away if you want to keep it yours - that's how the story goes...

Well Pilate washed his hands, there is a symbol in that somewhere, but the thiefs upon the cross must have felt equally decieved. What makes one man, breaks another, takes another for a ride, if a conclusion must be drawn - before you know it we will all be gone.
If shit gets any deeper I'll be getting me new boots, to befriend the situation and decide what I should do. I have come to understand I am your steppingstone as your climbing up that ladder going straight into a hole...
