Yawning with a grotesque whimper

This harrowing cold is the single fiber
That tethers a conviction of reality
Blood once warm now runs bleak
As I reel from a disturbing lapse of gravity

Souls stray to this infernal place
Feeding on the sorrow-filled moon as its reflection
Implants light within the flesh
I must unwillingly embrace

It wept to me in metallic tongues
Uttering abandoned and occult languages
Yet, I still understood
For I inhaled its thoughts as godlike pathogens
