The remnants of our race set off
To a final destination

We have passed a thousand or more
In search of a place where we can live in peace
But so far, only emptiness we have found
"And so we journeyed through the enveloping cosmic dark. In all this vastness, and obscure stellar systems, for many aeons we found little hope. At these far outreaches of the universe, we found few worlds that could harbour life. No place to which our species could migrate. But suddenly, through the darkness, a pale blue dot emerged. And we knew, this was where we would make our stand."

Travelled so far, to find a new star
That can grant, a new life for us all
In search of a place, far into space
Now it seems that we have arrived
We've reached a remote, small galaxy
And we see a world of blue and green
The third one from the star
