Self Defense Letra

he tries to tell his parents but they just ignore him
every night tears flow down his cheeks
and then he cries in his sleep
it's not fair that he be treated so cruel
so he packs a gun to school
says he's reached his breakin' point
then he starts blowin' up the joint

he pulls the trigger with a gleam in his eye
then watches blankly as his bullies die
the school is now a killing field
he grabs a teacher and uses her as a shield
more shots ring out and blood his the floor
and nobody knows what he's shooting for
the SWAT's arrive and give him the orders
but the kid reloads and runs thru the corridors
a couple of cops get in the building
only to find the youth had killed himself

he looks to the skies with the same blank look in his eyes
and the whole community acts surprised
i'm not surprised one single bit
what this kid fought for was straight up bullshit
a kid shouldn't have to die ‘cos he wasn't accepted
instead everybody made him feel neglected
it's gettin' so bad and it's gettin' so scary
that packing a gun to school is necessary
and i don't give a damn about the expense
i'm packing a gun to school for Self Defense!
