If you grow to like the voice of an artist
It doesn't mean you like better music that anybody else
You're just slightly less lazy than the pop-goer is
You know I can four-five-one Just like tons of my favorite bands
That no one else or everyone else likes
And it all just depends on how subtly catchy it is without being pop
Now don't get me started on choruses
No, it's cool, I like losing interest in songs way quicker than I should
And what's so damn important that anyone has to hear it more than once?
And I wouldn't be surprised if this was The only song that anybody liked of mine
It just sucks 'cause this was the only song I put no effort into writing
Seriously I just played the first two chords I ever learned
And then sang I guess exactly what was on my mind at the time
No melody in mind and not minding if I repeated words like mind so much
Now, I'll ironically bash on choruses
