Rewinding Tomorrow
Myriad Of Arrows
It's hard to tell where this will start
I've been counting numbers in my sleep
and harder yet to know when we'll part
I'll be replacing numbers soon with sheep
because this is too much for me to handle
and before it goes I want to rid myself of what I percieve
and light a match to light a candle
so I can tell all these skelotens to leave
A myriad of arrows through my heart
Clearing out this space in such a violent way
feels better all the time
to get room for someone else to stay
to trash the clutter in my mind
Here we are standing on the shore
Stop pretending we deserve more
A myriad of arrows through my heart
It's so hard to tell where this had to start
but dreamers all need a place to park
to sort out their head
clearing out thoughts that are dead
A myriad of arrows through my heart
Is what will clean out Your space
so You may settle, and we may say
forever now we shall not part
