Christmas When You're Young
Heavenly child, As you lay there asleep. Waiting for Christmas to come early. Little saint nick is dancing upon the roof time. I want to watch the fat man eat his cookies. Oooo oh no... christmas never comes Oooo oh no... christmas never comes Our youth is filled with better days. You and me, on Santa's sleigh. We stayed up nights awaiting life how come now we dread Christmas time? Let's bring out the child, and read them to sleep. So they can sneak out, and have presents early The fire burns and stockings stuffed with a child's wonder. don't forget to leave out the milk and cookies. stomachs filled with candy canes Christmas lights, light the sky Jaded life, and weary shoes. but feeling young, is how I'm moved. When we're young Nothing can be wrong Our youth is gone It's really gone. Out my window: Icicles come outside And play in the snow. From Letras Mania
